Petra's Rosé

Petras Rose

Petra's Rosé, the first Croatian rosé wine aged in oak barrels, is a testament to the vision of Petra Leko. This innovative blend of traditional methods and modern oenological techniques creates a wine that is both complex and elegant. Petra, among her many contributions, was the driving force behind the idea of an aged rosé made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc varieties, a wine that now bears her name.
Petra's Rosé is a tribute to the unique landscape of Istrian vineyards. The pink sunsets over the Buje hills, a sight often associated with good weather, served as the inspiration for this special wine. The pink hue of the sky, reflecting the beauty and harmony of nature, is mirrored in the color and taste of this rosé, creating a unique and enchanting experience for wine lovers.
Aging in oak barrels has allowed this rosé to develop a wide range of unique flavors in rosé wines. It features delicate aromas of red fruit, spices, and subtle notes of vanilla, creating a rich and layered experience for wine enthusiasts. As for bottling, it is as exclusive as the idea itself, with each bottle being numbered and the rosé series limited.
The uniqueness of Petra's Rosé also lies in its presentation. The wine is accompanied by labels designed by artists Miran Šabić and Ana Sladetić. Each bottle carries a handwritten number, further emphasizing this wine's personalized approach and exclusivity.
