Bastiàn Malvasia, winner of the gold medal at the 28th Vinistra Wine Festival

From May 5 to 8, the 28th Vinistra Wine Festival was held in Žatika Hall in Poreč. 110 wine producers participated in the event, and a total of 565 samples of wine and spirits were evaluated, of which 273 were Malvasia. Our Bastiàn Malvasia won gold in its debut presentation to a wider audience with 92 points. This recognition is an indication that our dedication and love for wine combined with the peculiarities and potential of Buje’s landscape all converge in the creation of top, quality wines, while writing an unforgettable and unique story.

Bastiàn Malvasia Istria is a superb dry white wine. It is characterized by a specific floral-fruity aroma and a light lemon-yellow color with a greenish sheen. The aromas of acacia flower, vineyard peach, grapefruit and basil give it a complex and rich fragrance. Freshness, fullness and authenticity can be felt in each taste, which sets Bastiàn Malvasia apart from other wines. We believe that winning the gold medal at Vinistra is only the beginning of Bastiàn Malvasia's breakthrough onto the Croatian wine scene.
